This is a well made solid pine side table with two drawers, dating to the English George III period of the late 18th century, circa 1790.
This is a lovely Georgian piece of English country furniture with great small proportions
The one piece top is rectangular, raised on four square tapered legs. The table has two small drawers with two round knob handles, made of a contrasting darker wood. There is a shaped under-freeze, with hand carved side ears, that adds to the design and is another desirable feature of this table.
We have had and used this piece for many years and it exemplifies the clean Georgian style with superb small proportions and a lovely mellow color.
Overall, a very stylish and practical piece that would fit virtually anywhere in the modern home.
